Color Consultation • Massachusetts

Color choices that fit the house, the light, and how you live.

A grounded, in-person conversation about palettes — with real samples, in your rooms, in your light — before any commitment.

Well-lit interior with a considered neutral palette.

What we hear from homeowners

A perfect color chip in the store rarely reads the same on your wall.

Light exposure, floor color, existing trim, and adjacent rooms all shift how a color feels. We help you look at options in context so you can decide with confidence — not by guessing under a fluorescent bulb.

What's included

  • In-home walkthrough of the rooms in question
  • Discussion of use, mood, and existing finishes
  • Sample cards or drawdowns to review
  • Notes on sheen, undertones, and coordination between rooms
  • Follow-up if you want to narrow further after living with samples

Preparation & protection

  • Bring photos of furniture or textiles staying in the room
  • Consider natural light patterns through the day
  • Note anything you don't want to keep as a reference point
  • Think about how connected rooms should relate to each other

Frequently asked

Answers before you commit

Do we need a full consultation, or just help with one room?
Either works. Some homeowners want a single-room second opinion; others want a whole-house palette. We'll match scope to what you actually need.
Are consultations included in the paint estimate?
Light color guidance is part of what we do on any project. A dedicated consultation is a separate, focused conversation.
Can you match an existing color?
In most cases, yes — provided the current paint is available or close enough for a modern match. We'll be honest if a re-paint of the whole wall is the better result.
