Drywall & Surface Prep • Massachusetts
Drywall repair and surface prep before any paint touches the wall.
Patching, skim-coating, and smoothing that turns imperfect walls into a surface the finish can actually sit on.

What we hear from homeowners
Paint doesn't hide bad walls — it highlights them.
Old repairs telegraph through fresh paint. Ridges pick up raking light. Nail pops come back. Real prep means finding those spots, correcting them, and priming them so the topcoat lays down evenly.

Frequently asked
Answers before you commit
- Do we always need to skim-coat before repainting?
- Not usually. Skim-coating is for walls that are uneven, over-textured, or have repeated repairs. We'll tell you honestly what your walls actually need.
- Will there be a lot of dust?
- Sanding creates dust. We contain the work area, protect surrounding rooms, and clean thoroughly at the end.
- Can drywall repair be done without repainting the whole wall?
- Sometimes. Small repairs can be spot-primed and touched up, but the result depends on the existing paint's age and sheen. We'll walk through what a good outcome looks like.
